16th Ipswich Music Festival 1st July 2007 |
Well the weather men got it wrong! Again! At least for Ipswich they got it wrong, despite reports of dull, cloudy and lots of rain, we only had one brief shower lasting no more than three minutes, other than that it was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine. |

As you can see the was more than a few people turned up! |

The music was good! And the beer was good! All those of us that went had a great day!

The highlight of the day was 'Salt Dog' previously known as 'Salty Dogs' And as always they got the whole crowd up and dancing! If you should ever get a chance to see them? Go! You will not regret it! |

All in all an excellent day! Even with the excitement on SGR stage, which I have been told was a bomb scare! Apparently some nut told the police he had hidden a device on the stage, so everyone was moved back while they checked it out. Turned out it was a false alarm and the show went on! Looking forward to next year! |
